MASS UNDER LOCKDOWN

Lockdown 3

From 5th January 2021 all areas of England were placed in National Lockdown. The overriding principal of the lockdown restrictions is that we must all STAY AT HOME. This is the single most important action we can all take to protect the NHS and save lives.

It is permitted to attend at place of worship for a service and therefore we will continue to celebrate Holy Mass at St.Bernard’s each Sunday at 10 am.

If you do attend Mass, you must not mingle with anyone outside of your household or support bubble. You should wear an effective face covering and maintain strict 2 metre social distancing at all times.

IMPORTANT – If you have, or suspect you may have, any symptoms of Covid 19, please do not attend Mass under any circumstances.

At St. Bernard’s, we are following the national guidance on the safe use of places of worship and further guidance provided by the Diocese of Leeds.

A risk assessment is in place and there will be stewards on duty throughout any service. Please assist us to keep you safe by following their directions and only move from your allocated place when asked to do so.

YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND MASS ON EACH OCCASION.

To register please return to the ‘Home Page’ (and scroll to the bottom) where you will find more information and a link to the registration form. Alternatively you may contact Fr Bob by telephone.

Please be aware that whilst the registration process allows a check on numbers, it is primarily for the purposes of ‘Contact Tracing’ and your details will be held for a legally required period on each occasion. We will treat your data confidentially and it will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

DONATIONS to the parish can now be made ONLINE via the link on the homepage menu. This takes you to a secure link to the Leeds Diocesan ‘Just Giving’ page from where you can make secure online donations directly to the parish.
